Founded in 1867 and based on the shores of Lake Como, Somma1867 represents over 150 years of Italian textile excellence. Rooted in one of Europe’s most prestigious manufacturing districts, the company combines heritage craftsmanship, premium wool and cotton research, and contemporary design.

Lake Como — globally synonymous with elegance and refined lifestyle — is central to the brand’s identity, reflecting a culture of beauty, authenticity, and enduring quality.

At Salone del Mobile Milano 2026, Somma1867 presents its latest collections for luxury residential and hospitality projects, alongside a new capsule collection developed in collaboration with Laboratorio Avallone, inspired by Chrysalis by Gennaro Avallone.

The capsule translates the artwork’s concept of transformation into refined textile pieces for bed and living, expressed through sculptural jacquards, artisanal weaves, and a sophisticated palette of natural tones.

The exhibition concept, TRAME, is conceived as a curated gallery experience — a celebration of craftsmanship, material research, and the art of slow manufacturing.

From Lake Como to the world, Somma1867 continues to define a contemporary vision of luxury rooted in tradition, territory, and unmistakable Italian style.
