Do my products come with a warranty?

All products purchased on the official Somma website are covered by warranty under the law. If a product is found to be non-compliant, please contact customer support by sending an email to customerservices@gabelgroup.com. We will be happy to help you and ready to find a solution to the problem as quickly as possible.

Will I receive the product as I see it in the picture?

The images on the official Somma website faithfully represent our products.

Color variations from the monitor to reality can be attributable to subjective perceptions, screen settings or lighting of the environment in which the photo was taken. 

What is the difference between Suit and Parure Sheets? 

The complete sheets include the top sheet, the bottom sheet and a pillowcase in the case of the single bed and two pillowcases for the double suits. The sheet parure has no under sheet and instead consists of the top sheet and a pillowcase for the single suit and two pillowcases for the double one.


What is the difference between Suit and Duvet Cover Set?

The duvet cover set includes the duvet cover, the bottom sheet and a pillowcase in the case of the single bed and two pillowcases for the double suits. The duvet cover set has no under sheet and consists of the duvet cover bag and a pillowcase for the single variant and two for the double one.

What is the difference between quilted and quilted bedspread?

The quilted bedspread is made with a light padding and is suitable for spring and autumn seasons. The padding used can be both hypoallergenic polyester fiber and cotton; the quilted bedcover, or summer, is not padded, is suitable for the summer season and is made of cotton fabric. 

What is the difference between quilt, duvet and duvet cover?

Quilts, commonly called duvets, are ideal for winter. They are padded with synthetic hypoallergenic, wool and silk, kapook, feather to ensure maximum comfort. They are typically characterized by square stitching or linear ideal for cold winter nights. 

The duvets are the soul to be inserted into the duvet cover sacks and can be goose down or non-allergenic polyester fiber, or even kapook and are covered with cotton down seal. They are white or beige.

The duvet cover is the duvet bag. In pure cotton, combed, percale and satin, they can be both solid color, with patterns, both with elegant jacquard workings and with refined embroidery.

How to choose a Duvet?

Somma makes duvet with feather, hypoallergenic polyester fiber, microfiber or kapook and other sustainable fibers for a down jacket suitable for every need. Duvet with feather padding are particularly warm, soft and light on the body.

They can have different weights to adapt to the way you sleep and to each season. The different percentages of down and feathers allow to offer products suitable for every need. Sleeping with a feather duvet in addition to ensuring a constant warmth and maximum breathability, is like sleeping on a cloud. There is also the four-season down duvet, which is composed of 2 duvets that can be used both separately and together, depending on the degree of heat you want to get. Duvet with hypoallergenic polyester fiber padding are extremely practical. You can use the model with a weight of 90 gr/ m" during the summer, those of 220 gr/ m2 during the autumn or in cold winters or in very heated rooms, and the padding of 320 gr/ m" more suitable for the colder. The microfiber duvets have a softness similar to the feather ones,but are much cheaper. We also propose the model quattrostagioni: consisting of two duvets, one lighter and one medium, equipped with snap buttons will allow you to decide each time independently the heaviness you want.

Only our duvets have the patented PIUMIO system, which allows a quick insertion of the duvet into the duvet cover and the anchor to keep it firm. Changing the duvet cover will be a game and super fast!

 

What is the difference between table service and tablecloth?

The table service consists of the tablecloth and the matching napkins. It exists in different sizes, the most common are: table service for 6, 8, 12 people. It will allow you to set up elegant tables and all coordinated. The tablecloth does not have matching napkins, normally sold separately.

Shipments

In which countries do you ship?

We deliver all over Italy (including islands), in the European Union, Switzerland, United Kingdom (with request for EORI code for customs clearance). Deliveries are at street level. It is not possible to request delivery on the floor or by appointment.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, size of the products and the country of destination. For all online purchases over 190€, shipping to Italy is free. For countries such as Switzerland and the UK, customs clearance fees will be charged separately.

What are the delivery times in Italy?

We are committed to entrusting your products to the courier within 5 working days after receiving your order. We cannot guarantee such timing in particular periods of the year (holidays, Black Friday, August and sales, etc.), in case of strikes by couriers or for reasons of force majeure (weather conditions). We recommend that you always check that the address you entered for delivery is correct before confirming your order.

What are the delivery times and costs abroad?

Delivery costs are calculated in the order, once the selected country has been determined. Customs costs may be added to these costs where applicable. Time limits will be defined once the country of delivery of the order has been chosen.

How to trace an order?

You will receive an order confirmation e-mail and an e-mail when the order is delivered to the express courier, with a link to verify the path of your package (tracking) from the taking charge of the courier until the actual delivery. Returns and refunds

When can I return?

The return request must be made no later than 14 days from the date of receipt of the package, as required by law. You are responsible for the costs of returning the products.

Can I partially or totally withdraw from my order?

You can use the right of withdrawal for one or more products purchased online.

The products must be in perfect condition, unused, accompanied by their original packaging and complete with any accessories and instructions. 

What is the return method?

If you want to make a return, follow these simple steps:

- write to the Somma customer service at customerservices@gabelgroup.com to communicate your wish to return from the order, attaching the images of the product you intend to return;

- the images will be viewed by our quality department that will authorize the return, subject to control;

- prepare the package carefully to protect it during transport and insert the completed form received by e-mail;

- cut out and affix the label with the address of the consignee, outside the package; 

- the courier will collect the package within the agreed time frame.

What are the return costs?

We will contact the courier to schedule the pickup at the same address as the delivery: the cost is 12.20 € for the pickup and will be deducted from the refund.

How do I refund my orders?

The refund (equal to the sum of the returned items, excluding the return costs) is made using the same payment used during the purchase. The average refund time is 15 working days, starting from the moment the returned product reached our warehouse. In case of payment by credit card, we remind you that the time needed to view the refund on the account depends on the issuing institution of your card. Only products in perfect condition, unused, accompanied by their original packaging will be refunded.


What should I do if I receive a defective/damaged product? 

We only sell tested and certified items so if in exceptional cases you receive a defective/non-compliant/damaged product please contact our customer service customerservices@gabelgroup.com promptly attaching a documentation photographic products received.

Problems of a technical nature

Do I not receive the order confirmation and shipping emails?

These emails can be delivered to your inbox in "junk mail" or folder "spam" as email systems are increasingly careful to protect the privacy of their users by identifying for example as unwanted emails that are not part of your contacts. 

I can not make the payment, what should I do?

If the payment is not authorized, verify that your credit card numbers or the expiration date are not wrong, check with your bank that it does not block the payment. For security reasons, customer service does not have access to your bank details but remains at your disposal to help.

How can I clear my cache?

A cache that is too full can slow down the browser and sometimes even prevent it from working. On PC, for most browsers on the market (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox), press the following shortcut keys Ctrl + Shift + Del to access the options to empty the cache immediately (called Temporary Files on Internet Explorer).
