La Suite has always expressed the concept of "quiet luxury", a whispered elegance that combines exclusivity and innovation, narrating the excellence of its entirely italian production.

“The presence at the Salone del Mobile in Milan - explains Michele Moltrasio, President and CEO of the Group - introduced us to a clientele of interior designers, who furnish homes and yachts for a public that requires customized products. Managers and owners of hotels, resorts, spas and restaurants are also an audience for Somma 1867. We have decorated important villas, yachts and luxury hotels, such as the Baccarat Hotel in New York. We are confident that the partnership with this famous chain can continue and have a bright future...”.

Mister Moltrasio continues: “We are very proud of the 'La Suite' project, a real division of Somma1867, able to meet all possible decorative need thanks to the control of the entire production process, the skills acquired in over 150 years of history and our craftsmanship, typical our the Lake Como region.Somma1867, for over a century and a half brought in every room of the house products of the highest quality and represented italian excellence.“

This year Somma1867 will present bed and bath linens in new shades of colors; a new project that also coordinates to the world of wool, with a new collection of throws and blankets in the finest yarns.

Last July 12, the color division of WGSN, the well-known trend forecast company, announced the key colors of autumn/winter 2023/2024: energizing and sensory, trendy colors take more and more inspiration from the natural world and food, fruit, river pearls and coffee grounds, come to life in the textile collections next season.

The Group’s Style and Product Office, led by Massimo Moltrasio, has intercepted these changes in color and for this reason has re-colored La Suite with warm shades and colors of the earth: emerges, in particular, apricot orange: an injection of energy, a vibrant color that symbolizes warmth, complicity and inner harmony, and, according to the chromotherapy, infuses joy and energy favoring social interactions. Our apricot orange co-ordinates to chocolate brown to create a refined and sophisticated effect, perfect for both the residential and hospitality world.

The white of most bed, bath and table items is hence decorated with color, through precious applications and embroideries in the most refined fabrics: muslin, sateen and linen or terry, always always coordinated with the world of wool, precious heritage of Somma1867. A complete project that satisfies every request, from concept to delivery, offering a tailor-made service for private residences and hospitality.

Somma1867 is a textile manufacture intimately linked to the territory of Lake Como, where innate style, creativity, passion and luxury are reinterpreted in an iconic way.
